Campaigning through images: exploring housing rights in North LondonPhotoVoiceJanuary 6, 2016

Students from the Development Planning Unit at UCL have worked with CitizensUK and PhotoVoice to conduct a series of action research activities with the objective to record and collect the housing experiences of distinct groups in North London. The findings of this research will feed into the on-going housing campaign of CitizensUK targeting the 2016 mayoral election.
Students studying for the MSc in Social Development Practice will be presenting work in an exhibition on Friday 15th January.
The exhibition includes outputs from participatory photography activities undertaken in partnership with four institutions in North London, including the shelter for the homeless Shelter from the Storm, City and Islington College, Aysha Community School and The Bartlett Development Planning Unit of UCL.
Join us to see the result of activities and to discuss the next steps in the CitizensUK Housing Campaign at the Surma Community Centre, 1 Robert Street, London NW1 3JU on Friday 15th January, from 5.30 – 7.30pm.
