PhotoVoice’s innovative and award-winning projects have addressed issues as diverse as climate change, political engagement, women’s rights, refugees, HIV, disability, sexual exploitation and many more. We work with communities to help them capture and share their situation through photography, believing in a world where everybody has the right to represent themselves and tell their own story.
The projects we’ve worked on, and the images which have resulted from them, can be an inspiring springboard for other photographers to think about their own work. We are delighted to announce our next competition in partnership with Professional Photography magazine, with the theme inspired by PhotoVoice’s past projects.
Entrants will be invited to submit either a single photograph or a series of images (maximum 6). The winner will have their images featured in the pages of Professional Photography, in our quarterly publication Photo Voices, and on PhotoVoice’s website.
Winners will also have the opportunity to take over PhotoVoice’s Instagram account for a week, and will receive £50 to celebrate their success. All winning images will be showcased at an exhibition in 2017.
PhotoVoice members can enter all competitions for free throughout the duration of their membership.
