PhotoVoice holding ‘lucky dip’ of acclaimed photographs

Oct 20 2015

At the 2016 London Art Fair, PhotoVoice will be offering attendees the chance to own a print from some of the world’s most acclaimed photographers.

PhotoVoice works all over the world using photography for social change. Its acclaimed and award-winning projects have helped build skills in underrepresented communities in over 30 countries, addressing issues such as trafficking, young people affected by sexual exploitation, HIV, disability and many others.

By working in partnership with these communities, PhotoVoice has been able to offer a platform for voices to be heard, have their situations better understood, and offer opportunities to engage with those who are making decisions about them. With over 60 projects in its history, PhotoVoice has gathered a collection of stunning images, all taken by those participating in its projects.

At the London Art Fair, a selection of these will be made available – some for the first time – at an affordable price. In addition, a number of acclaimed photographers including Nick Danziger, Peter Dench, Ben Hopper, Tim Ashley, Lottie Davies, Jeremy Hunter, and others have donated prints in support of PhotoVoice, with others to be announced.

All prints will all be available at the same affordable price of £35 – but by taking part in our ‘Lucky Dip’, the fun lies in finding out which print you have bought. Your envelope may delight you with a stunning image from a PhotoVoice project, or reveal a signed image from a renowned photographer. One thing you can be sure of is that the proceeds will go towards supporting PhotoVoice’s charitable work. We looks forward to seeing you at our stand.

The London Art Fair is taking place 20th – 24th January 2016 at the Business Design Centre, London. Find out more information here.

PhotoVoice members will receive the opportunity to attend the fair at a discounted rate, along with another range of discounts. To find out more about PhotoVoice membership or to join, visit here.
