Tom Elkins
Chief Executive Officer

Tom Elkins joined PhotoVoice in 2014. He has worked for a number of voluntary sector organisations, focussing on issues relating to equality, disability, and empowering individuals and communities to campaign for better services and policies. He is also a photographer who has worked with a number of organisations on their campaigns, as well as exhibiting his own work.

Becky Warnock
Projects Manager

Becky joined PhotoVoice in 2015. She has specialised in using participatory practice across different art forms, working with many vulnerable community groups, particularly prisoners, ex-offenders and young people at risk. She is the former Head of Arts at Only Connect and is currently studying for an MA in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism at the London College of Communication. Becky is also a freelance photographer, artist, filmmaker and designer who creates innovative, community engaged art, powered for social change.

Nic Pursey
Institutional Support

Nic joined PhotoVoice in 2005. He has 15 years’ experience working in the trust and foundation fundraising environment. He is responsible for all aspects of PhotoVoice’s institutional funding – grants from government, trusts and foundations, and companies.

Kate Watson
Projects Manager

Kate joined PhotoVoice in 2015. Combining her visual arts background with an MA in Human Rights and International Politics in which she focused her research on gender politics, Kate has worked extensively to develop and deliver participatory research and development projects which address human rights and social justice issues. Kate has drawn upon her experience in project management, research and facilitation to support diverse communities to use participatory media and photography as a catalyst for dialogue, empowerment and creative advocacy, fostering sustainable positive social change.

Zoe Wright
Communications Intern

Zoe joined PhotoVoice in 2015. She has a First in BA Photography and has previously worked in Christian Aid’s communications department. She first discovered PhotoVoice whilst working at Christian Aid, where she was introduced to the PhotoVoice project ‘MyPharm’. Having been moved by the images she curated an exhibition and participatory communications event in London. She then delivered her own participatory photography project during a three month placement programme in India.
