Training Prices Have Changed

The PhotoVoice participatory photography training programme is a must for anyone thinking of running their own project. We cover everything from photography as a participatory medium to facilitation, ethics and workshop design. Many past training attendees have gone on to run their own successful programmes, or successfully received funding following our training. A recent example is Elaine Flores who following the PhotoVoice training, undertook a project funded by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

“For two-days, photography workshops based on the PhotoVoice methodology provided affected residents with non-verbal tools to select and portray their own resilience motifs – identifying the factors that helped them overcome the difficulties imposed by “El Niño” and engage in an open group dialogue on their shared experiences and mental health needs.” – Elaine Flores

From the feedback we received in 2017:

  • 95.7% agreed/strongly agreed that the course met their objectives
  • 100% agreed/strongly agreed that they would recommend the course
  • 93.6% agreed/strongly agreed that they felt confident to run their own workshops
  • 95.7% agreed/strongly agreed that the resources met their expectations

A great course that really highlighted what participatory photography is and consistently came back to the core principles. Great facilatation and working with the group to identify what the needs and interest were and to tailor these to meet the expectations of the group.
