This month, one lucky PhotoVoice supporter will get their hands on the beautiful photobook ‘If you lived here you’d be home by now’ by Ruth Connolly. Seemingly abandoned homes and empty streets occupy Ruth’s eery photographs. These ghost towns are in fact housing estates that were built throughout Ireland, but never housed a community due to the the economic crash of 2008.
Ruth Connolly is an Irish photographer and visual artist. She graduated in 2014 with an MA in Photography from Central Saint Martins, London, and has exhibited both in Ireland and abroad.
